“Get Full Access to TradingView for FREE – $2,399.40/year value” Available only in TradingView Desktop.

Naturally, this offer caught the attention of traders and investors across the world. Who wouldn’t want access to premium tools and features completely free for a year?
But there’s just one problem…
🧩 The Offer Doesn’t Deliver What It Promises After downloading the TradingView Desktop app for Windows, users quickly realize that there’s no upgrade to a premium plan. The free access claim? Nowhere to be found inside the app. No email confirmation. No promo code. No step-by-step instructions. Absolutely nothing to back the promotional claim.
Instead of receiving the full premium access — which includes:
16 charts per tab
50 indicators per chart
40K historical bars
200 parallel chart connections
1,000 price and technical alerts
No ads
Users are stuck with the same limitations as before. The desktop version runs exactly like the free version on the web.
⚠️ Why This Is a Problem This isn’t just an inconvenience — it borders on false advertising.
Misleading users into downloading a product under false promises can violate consumer protection laws in many regions.
If TradingView doesn’t intend to actually provide this full subscription, the advertisement is deeply unethical. At best, it’s a marketing error. At worst, it’s a deliberate ploy to increase desktop installs and usage stats.
🗣️ The Community Deserves Transparency TradingView has a strong reputation among traders and analysts. It’s used by professionals around the world. But promotions like this erode trust. If there was a technical issue, a simple public statement or correction would’ve sufficed. But at the time of writing, no such clarification has been issued.
🔍 What Should Happen Now? TradingView should immediately clarify the offer.
If the promotion was real, instructions on how to activate the free subscription should be provided.
If the promotion was incorrect or a marketing error, users deserve a public apology and transparency.
✅ Final Thoughts As traders and customers, we rely on tools like TradingView to make serious financial decisions. Honesty, trust, and transparency are non-negotiable.
